Treated Wood Post Foundation Option:
"Wooden Post for a foundation?" Yes, you heard right. Let's look at this for a moment. Homes and buildings have been constructed on wooden columns and post for decades. One only needs to do a quick Google search to find that in many areas across the country and around the world, it is still the foundation of choice. While concrete is considered to be the superior choice of materials for a foundation, sometimes it is just not feasible to do so. Due to location, building site soil conditions, budget constraints or some other reason, a monolithic pour concrete slab or footer & stem wall foundation is simply not the right choice for some folks. While that's not to say it can't be done, there are just some occasions that warrant a different approach. If you think this option may be right for you and your unique situation, give us a call. We offer the following as an option.

Prices DO NOT INCLUDE Tax or Delivery.
Labor figured within 75 miles of our location here at Lucky Discount Lumber. Labor prices for over 75 miles will incur additional costs.
Compliance with your local codes may incur extra costs, due to material differences and extra time involved. Any extra costs are the responsibility of the customer.
